
			Dental Services Restorative Treatment Continued Veneers The technology for dental crowns has improved over the years, and newer cosmetic options are available. Veneers are crowns made of pure porcelain, and are great options for replacing front teeth. Inlays and Onlays An inlay or onlay is a porcelain filling made to fit your tooth like a puzzle piece. These are great for restoring large cavities that have altered the tooth’s biting surfaces. They are often recommended when large old silver or gold fillings need to be replaced. Root Canals Root canal treatment is necessary when there is an infection of the tooth. Prior to the procedure an antibiotic is often needed to aid in controlling the infection. This treatment will clean out the inside of the tooth, followed by filling or placing a crown on the tooth. Implants An implant is an option when there is a missing tooth, or if a tooth could not be saved. This is a two-piece prosthetic that consists of a titanium root and a crown that will replace a missing tooth. Tooth Extractions Routine tooth extractions are sometimes required with stubborn baby teeth, patients preparing for braces, or wisdom teeth. In addition to these types of extractions, in some unfortunate cases teeth that can not be saved with any other restorative treatment may need to be removed. Partial and Full Dentures Partial dentures are made to snap into place in the mouth and replace multiple missing teeth in a row. A full denture is made to replace all the teeth on either the top, bottom, or both. These pieces can suction to mouth or snap onto stabilizing teeth or implants. These are removable prosthetics that are to be worn to help replace function of the mouth, such as chewing and talking; and require proper brushing, cleaning, and nightly soaks. Example of whitening options are: -Over-the-counter whitening kits -Professional whitening kits -Custom fit trays and take home professional whitening gel -In-office one time whitening treatment Dental Insurance Your dental insurance is a great asset for you. We work with all insurance companies, and are happy to process your dental claims. Insurance estimates can be submitted, per patient request, to see the coverage for dental treatment options. Appointments We offer morning, afternoon, and evening hours throughout the week, and morning and afternoon hours on alternating Saturdays to accommodate all types of schedules. When you schedule your appointment, we reserve that time for you. We understand last minute changes in your schedule, and ask you to give us 24 hour notice if you should have to reschedule your appointment.
